This month, I completed my Java Certification, organized by Sun. As someone who has spent most of my career working with PHP, Java has significantly influenced my professional work in building applications with PHP. I’ve gained a deeper understanding of Object-Oriented Principles, many of which have shaped my PHP programming and design decisions throughout my career. Frameworks like Hibernate, Java Enterprise Edition, and Spring have had a strong impact on my approach to developing PHP applications, helping me adopt best practices and design patterns from the Java ecosystem. The certification journey was challenging but incredibly rewarding. I enjoyed every step of the learning process, from understanding the inner workings of the Java Virtual Machine (JVM), exploring primitives, and diving into the complexities of garbage collection, to managing multithreading and exception handling.
