A Commitment to the Future

It's an interesting time for me. Many of my close friends and family are getting married and starting their own families. I feel incredibly lucky to live in Germany, where there's no heavy social pressure to get married quickly. At times, I felt like life could continue smoothly without the need for marriage. I even have friends who have been in relationships for longer and haven't felt the need to tie the knot. It made me realize that marriage wasn't about fulfilling an expectation—it was something much more personal. My job situation was stable; I could provide for myself and potentially a family too. As a software engineer, I felt valued, and I was surrounded by mentors from whom I could learn and grow. I felt confident in myself and my ability to keep getting better. So what comes next?
